Messenger WhatsApp will soon receive several important updates, writes the Daily Telegraph, citing insiders.
WhatsApp messenger will soon add the long-awaited function to edit and delete sent messages. You can only erase or change the content of a sent message until another user has viewed it.
The developers also implemented the function of tracking the user’s location in real time (live location tracking). With its help, group members will be able to receive information about the movements of their colleagues. The option will be disabled by default. You can activate it for one minute, two, five or indefinitely.
Recall that the latest version of the messenger, released in January, now has support for offline mode, simultaneous sending of up to 30 photos and new sections in the “Storage”.
WhatsApp is one of the most widespread mobile messengers used by people around the world. In 2014, Facebook acquired WhatsApp for $ 21.8 billion.
